  • J R Jones (Bob 1869 -1939 (?) ), 14 Castle Terrace, eldest son of Ann and John Jones and local coal Merchant. His office was based in the station yard and the shed was then moved to Hafanedd castle terrace. It's unknown if it is still there today.
  • A Ferranti Transformer for Ffestiniog Power Station. The tank was designed specifically to fit through the Blaenau tunnel and crawled through with constant stops to adjust the lateral position on its bogie as there was barely an inch to spare either side
